About us

Established in 1998, Foolish Craigs is a fun, owner-operated café in Boulder, Colorado open for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and drinks.

Our award winning bread is made fresh daily in our bakery. From slow-braising our corned beef and pork shoulder, to making our soups and dressings in-house, our goal is to serve the best, tastiest food possible. Virtually every item on our menu from the crepes to the desserts are made to order. We use eggs that are locally raised, nest fresh and cage free.

We have quite a few Gluten Free and Vegetarian options. We also will work with you to change a menu item to fit your specific dietary needs

Colorado fresh produce and meats are used whenever possible. Some of our local suppliers include Red Bird Chicken, Boulder Organic Fair Trade Coffee, Eco-products, Morning Fresh Dairy, Sherpa Chai, Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha, Udi's Artisan Granola, Polidori Sausage and Colorado raised Certified Angus Beef. All our draft beers are hand-picked from local microbreweries (try a sampler flight). In addition, our selection of local bourbons, whiskeys and spirits offer a great sampling of Colorado deliciousness.

In an effort to become a zero-waste facility, we compost and recycle everything we can, including the help - they just keep coming back!

Known for its crepes, Foolish Craig’s also offers a variety of omelets, burgers, sandwiches on freshly baked breads, salads, homemade soups, and combinations at reasonable prices for breakfast and lunch served through 2pm.

For breakfast, Foolish Craig’s offers a variety of large omelets with freshly sautéed ingredients, served with house-made toast and house potatoes, as well as a number of different Eggs Benedicts.

Complete your meal with a cocktail, wine, beer, or espresso drink. Foolish Craig’s is said to have the best Bloody Marys in town. We think you will agree.

After your meal, try one of our homemade desserts like “The Whole Thing”, a crepe filled with Nutella chocolate, bananas and walnuts sautéed in butter, cinnamon and brown sugar, accompanied by whipped or ice cream or our famous Crepe Cake.
